Caterpillar Toy Reverse Engineering Project

In this project, we deconstructed a wind-up caterpillar toy to study its internal components and mechanisms. This hands-on exploration allowed us to analyze how each part contributed to the toy’s function while gaining a deeper understanding of mechanical design. As part of the process, I created detailed hand-drawn engineering sketches of the toy’s components, honing my technical drawing skills and developing a strong appreciation for precision and detail in engineering documentation.
